Muzyka Krakowa – Stara Synagoga is a 15th‑century synagogue that survived the devastation of World War II and now serves as a vibrant portal into Kraków’s Jewish heritage. Located at ul. Szeroka 24, the museum offers a blend of permanent and temporary exhibitions that trace the history and culture of Jews in Kraków. Visitors delight in guided tours, audio guides, and school‑specific programmes. The museum is open daily from 10:00 – 15:00 on Mondays and from 9:00 – 17:00 on all other days, with free‑entry days implemented since 1 May 2023. On these free‑entry days tickets are no longer required to be reserved; visitors can obtain free passes directly at the box office on the day of their visit. The museum also provides a range of discounted, reduced, family, group and school tickets at 20 PLN, 15 PLN, 40 PLN, 15 PLN and 12 PLN respectively for eligible groups such as students, seniors, teachers, families, and school groups. In addition, free admission is granted for holders of various free‑entry cards, providing an inclusive experience for culturally curious travellers. The Stara Synagoga remains a must‑visit destination for history enthusiasts and families alike.
