Over the hills and far away amid the fairy-tale forests in the south of Poland, lies the small and picturesque village of Istebna. There you will find our peaceful retreat from the bustling city. Near forests and babbling streams we have eco-friendly houses that we lovingly call Woodboxes. Our houses are quite unique. We upcycle shipping containers in an effort to reduce landfill waste. But don’t be deceived—they are compact, functional, and modern. We use nature-friendly technologies while keeping the highest quality. . Woodboxes can accommodate up to 6 guests in a comfortable and spacious environment. In our Woodboxes, you will find: A large bed in the form of a capsule with a large window to give you the best views. A folding sofa, which can be pulled out to accommodate 2 people. A large bed that is magically hidden in the cupboard, which also forms a little table A kitchenette, where you will find everything you need to prepare a tasty breakfast or a romantic candlelit dinner. A bathroom, although minimalistic, is designated to be comfortable. Soft towels, colourful soaps, and hair dryers are ready for you. Each house has a lockable ski room and a bicycle room with a separate entrance. We have cutlery, ladles. corkscrews, plates, bowls, pots, cups, glasses, wine glasses and more. You will also find jars full of aromatic spices and herbs, and something sweet for the gourmands. Mini Woodbox To meet the expectations of our valued clients, we are now creating the MINI Woodbox to accommodate two people. It wasn’t easy to turn this concept into reality, but we did it! We currently have two MINI Woodbox apartments available for accommodations. We converted a shipping container into a duplex apartment—perfect for couples and families. The apartments look identical, but with complementing décor. In one of them you will notice gold details to brighten your day like the morning sun. In second of them we added emerald coloring to help you relax as you rest in nature. Each apartment features a minimalistic bathroom, a compact kitchen, a sofa with coffee table, and a comfortable living room with a big window to enjoy the scenery. Our dream of bringing these apartments to you has come true! Book one or both—we would love to share our little piece of heaven with you.
