Ericeira's World Surf Reserve Interpretation Center is an innovative and interactive project that strongly invests in technology, providing a truly immersive experience. It is part of the Ericeira Tourist Office, located right in the “heart” of the village, more specifically in Praça da República (commonly known as “Jogo da Bola”). It makes known the World Surfing Reserve, its seven magnificent waves and the fauna and flora that inhabits it. It also explores the role that surfing has played in the evolution of Ericeira, establishing an important bridge between the geographical characteristics of this region and a knowledge that can only be transmitted through its history and its inhabitants. Introducing a new form of communication, the Interpretation Center is also an important contribution to the environmental sustainability of this region, which represents one of the main objectives of the World Surfing Reserves.
