Industrial Tourism at São João da Madeira is constituted by a set of industrial tourist circuits, with the objective of combining the preservation of the industrial archaeological legacy with the promotion of industries considered traditional and of the new industries creative and technological, through the visits of different factories in the county. Among the circuits, the tourist can visit factories that produce pencils, hats, shoes, textiles, mattresses, labels and complement their visit with a magical trip to the industrial museums of hats and shoes, as well as to the Oliva Art Center with a beautiful collection of contemporary art and outsider art.
