Canastra is a local shop of regional products with cane basketry, handmade serving boards in local wood (produced by us) and a wide range of food products using orange, fig, almond and carob. We sell flower of salt (natural, citric or chilli), local orange blossom, wild lavender and arbutus/eucalyptus multifloral honey as well as arbutus-berry spirit. Artisanal canned sardines and horsemackerel fillets. Algarvian tapenades like sardines w/ dried tomatoes, mackerel w/almonds and olives, tuna algarve style and horsemackerel w/carrot and coriander. We produce sugar-free pomegranate reduction syrup using a unique collection of native varieties of pomegranates from all over the world grown with sustainable agricultural practices just 1km from our shop. Tradicional orange, carob, fig and arbutus licors. Regional wines including algarvian native grape Negramole, bestseller "Grande escolha" white from Barranco longo wineyard and silver medal local white reserve Vinhas de Nexe new 2024.
