About

It is on the Alentejo coast, at the confluence of two great Portuguese wine-growing regions, Setúbal and the Alentejo, that we find Herdade Canal Caveira. Cradled by the foothills of the Grândola Mountains, the estate receives the maritime influence of the Alentejo Coast, land of a unique and original microclimate. It has an area of 45 hectares, 25 of which are vineyards and the rest are olive trees, orange trees, cork oaks, arbutus, and pine trees. By the road IC1, before the stop for the famous "Cozido à Portuguesa", stands the emblematic house in the shape of a castle. The vineyards stretching out in the sun, break between the lap of the stream, and the side of the road. The winery brings us the proof. In a virtuous reality, the view from the top floor divides itself widely between the village, the mountains, and the plain, while the tinkling of the glasses stirs the smell and the taste of the nectars produced here. We invite you to come and visit us.
