More than a Fado House, Associação do Fado Casto is a Fado Academy. Informality reigns. Pedro de Castro – host and talented guitarist – presents, on the walls of the room, a vast collection of vinyl records that represent the heritage and tradition of Fado. The tables are long and the snacks arrive little by little. You can taste dishes that you could eat at a Portuguese home: from bean soup to 'peixinhos da horta', including fried potatoes and chorizo ​​roasted on the table. Red wine will always be on your table. The Associação do Fado Casto presents ‘Velha Guarda’, on Fridays and Saturdays, a concert that brings together the great names of Fado with established and international careers. You can attend this experience from 8pm, with dinner and concert [50€/pax], or at 11pm only for the concert [25€/pax].
