Halcyon I - Historical Lisbon Boat Tours
About
Halcyon I has been my home since 2010. Built in Belem, between 1968 and 1970, and designed in Scotland, by G. L. Watson & Co, it is the last of three boats, made under the same design. Wood is teak, from Goa, in India, weights 35 tons and still has the same, original Leyland six cylinder engines, as in 1970. Every day, all year round, we leave Alcantara harbour, for a two hours sunset tour. We sail down to Belem Tower and up to Alfama, describing the monuments and it's History, in English and French. Then, you can appreciate sunset over the city of Lisbon. Up to eighteen guests, there's lots of space to walk around and enjoy the cruise. Sparkling wine and nibbles included, along the entire cruise. We hoist all sails, almost every day. We also have a private three hours program (lunch or dinner included), a full day private cruise to Cascais, lunch included, and a more than three days charter to Arrabida Natural Park. Take a look to our website for full details.
