Santo António is its patronage. The construction of the church began in 1951, having been completed in 1964. The entire façade is torn by fenestration of several flames, closed by stained glass. Inside, the nave is wide, covered with ashlar tiles, imitating ancient patterns. The roof is lined with darkened pine wood.
