Villas Praia Grande are Located in the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park, in Colares, Sintra where the Mountains meet the Sea – an idyllic setting for any holiday. Just a few minutes (500m) from the Atlantic Coast and its numerous beaches such as Praia Grande, Praia da Adraga and Praia das Maçãs where you can take part in activities such as surfing, windsurfing, body boarding, swimming, fishing, nature walks, horse riding, tennis and much more…There are many places to visit in the area such as the coastal village of Azenhas do Mar, the wine cellars of Colares and Peninha where the famous Ramisco wine is produced, and of course Cabo da Roca, the most western point of Europe. Just 10 km away is Sintra (World Heritage Site - UNESCO) which offers almost everything: from palaces and mansions to densely wooded slopes and romantic or exotic parks and gardens; from churches and monuments to excellent restaurants. Cascais is 20km away, a favourite tourist destination, combining a cosmopolitan atmosphere with the local flavour. Nearby, Estoril, with its casino, parks and esplanades (outdoor cafés) also has sparkling nightlife, great shopping and a whole lot more. You can walk from there to Cascais, along a promenade by the sea overlooked by grand villas. The coastline also has eight superb golf courses to choose from. Lisbon (airport) is 40km away and offers a huge choice of places to visit, from monuments and museums to a quite vast cultural calendar and all types of entertainment.
