Back in the 60’s and right in front of one of the most remarkable palaces of Ponta Delgada, the Casa de Pasto O Avião opened its doors as one of the first food joints in town. In the 55 years that followed, working class people, students, poets, artists, business men and politians would claim this space as their own and seat together to enjoy the autenthic local food where tradition, friendship and good service is remembered through generations. Today, in the same place where once was the small joint, two hundred people can have a seat and still experience the same legacy in a simple and joyfull atmosphere. Located in the noble area of the city center, our clients can enjoy the big terrace placed on this pedonal side street. Here locals and visitors can truly appreciate autenthic azorean food in a true azorean landmark.
