Tucked secretively back in a quiet and secluded position, less than a 100 meters away from the sandy beach and only a short flat walk from the village, once lay a Roman Estate.Today it´s the site of the family run establishment of Quinta Paraiso da Mia - as the remaining Roman Well bares testament.Situated in the heart of Quinta´s lush gardens, today this Roman Well provides fresh clear water for the swimming pool hereby you can swim, relax and dine by day, or feast on the weekly poolside Portuguese barbeque, fresh sardines, caldeirada (Fish Stew) or our famous King Prawns by night.Whether you are sampling our local wines and homemade specialities,taking advantage of the sauna and pool,booking a massage or simply having breakfast on your own private terrace, at Quinta Paraiso da Mia, the emphasis is on relaxing within our calm surroundings.Amongst the 7000m2 of serene grounds are 14 tastefully decorated self catering apartments - either studios, or one or two bedroomed.All apartments are non-smoking, have their own well equiped kitchen, a living room with satellite television and phone. Whilst for those who prefer a quieter holiday, there are suprisingly few visitors during the milder winter months when the temperatures rarely drops below 18 degrees and for the most part, the sun continues to shine. To feel comfortable during these winter months we use the under floor heating together with the fire place. All have one bathroom with a bath or a shower , while those apartments with two bedrooms have a second bathroom, with one being en-suite to the master bedroom and a private terrace or balcony overlooking the subtropical green oasis. Bed linen, kitchen- and bathroom will de provided. Bed linen we will change once a week, kitchen- and bathroom towels twice a week. Pool- and beach towels are available (extra costs).Each apartment has daily maid service (except on Sundays or Bank holidays) to maintain the highest standards of freshness and cleanliness for your comfort and convenience.All our apartments and facilities are officialy confirmed as having Three Star status by the Portuguese Tourism Office, following their inspection.
