About
the house of the torch, was born at the beginning of the 20th century. In its beginning was a church, where the women before they got pregnant came asking for the blessing and light a candle. In the mid-1950s it became a grocery store, where wine was sold in bulk. In September of 2015, after having been all recovered and with the help of Turismo de Portugal, it opened again with the aim of being an icon of the gastronomy of Portimão, with products of the region.
