Located in a privileged area of Oporto, and dating back to the 17th and 18th centuries, the Condes de Azevedo Palace offers an elegant and classic oasis, with all the necessary commodities of the 21st-century traveler. Initially built as the home for the "Condes de Azevedo", the Palace owned by Viscount Francisco Lopes de Azevedo Velho da Fonseca de Barbosa Pinheiro Pereira e Sá served various purposes throughout its time. Probably its most iconic role, was when a typography was set up, essential for the "First Portuguese Grammar" in 1536, having translated other essential works of Cervantes and Virgílio.
