About

The restaurant is a tribute to our Donas Marias, from the skillful cooks to the queens and princesses who are part of our history. We want to rescue the best traditional recipes from Porto and the North of Portugal and be inspired by noble dishes such as those found in the “Book of Cooking of Infanta D. Maria de Portugal” and those that live in our memories. The wines that compose our wine cellar pair beautifully with our unique food made for sharing in the best Portuguese way. Reincarnating the spirit of the Douro Valley and its slopes, Dona Maria dresses in autumnal tones and organic shapes that give it motion, such as the ceiling “torn” by giant vine leaves or the sinuous wine cellar that surrounds the entire space. Marble, velvet, and wood dominate the various dining spaces. The living room straddles to the outside, where a comfortable terrace with a magnificent view of Porto overlooks the rooftops. Dress code: Smart casual.
