About
Il Basilico is the new Italian restaurant in the city of Porto, with direct access onto Rua Sá da Bandeira, right at the entrance of the refurbished PortoBay Teatro. Italian comfort cuisine offering delicious risottos, tortellini, ravioli and, as a speciality, pizzas made in a wood-fired oven. A varied menu, served in a space combining Mediterranean décor and a relaxed, comfortable and inviting atmosphere. In charge of Il Basilico's kitchen are chefs Pedro Spínola and Irene Vietti. The opening of Il Basilico Porto follows the success of its sister restaurant in Funchal, which is much appreciated by the locals.
