'O Transmontano' is located in the heart of the city of Cartaxo, was inaugurated in 1977 and celebrates his 40th anniversary this year, being one of the oldest in the district of Santarém. Our restaurant is dedicated to the flavours and aromas of traditional Portuguese cuisine, combined with regional products. ‘O Transmontano' has at its guests' disposal a variety of dishes such as: ‘Transmontano’ Codfish, ‘Lagareiro’ Octopus, Cod with Corn Bread, ‘Lagareiro’ Octopus Fillets, Rice with Prawns, Veal in the Panela to ‘Transmontano’ Veal in the Pan, the Rabbit Rice, Cow Tongue Stuffed and the ‘Cabidela’ Chicken.
