Quinta do Pomar Maior is an Agrotourism unit, located in the "Arouca Geopark" territory. It represents a new concept, quite innovative, inspired by futuristic architecture, with some old touches. With emphasis on living in full with nature, it is a partially sustainable project, with renewable energies and with special care to induce the least possible environmental impact, preserving all the green spaces of the area and privileging the native species of the region. Quinta do Pomar Maior offers are diverse, with apartments and rooms whose names represent some of the most attractive tourist spots in the region. House «Monastery» This air-conditioned home features a spacious living and dining area, contemporary furnishings, a flat-screen TV and floor-to-ceiling windows offering full views of the outdoor lawn area. The kitchen is fully equipped and the house includes 4 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. Most rooms have garden views. Accommodates up to 8 people. House «Trilobites» The house is born of the recovery and extension of ruins where the housekeepers lived. The house is surrounded by centuries-old oaks and cork oaks and by all vegetation that confuses us with a natural picture. Accommodates up to 4 people. A stunning space to relax and enjoy in full nature. House «Freita» The «Casa da Freita» is a suspended apartment on a hill between two splendid cork oaks. An apartment that sleeps up to 4 people, equipped with a modern and cozy decoration, with a view on the Serra da Freita. This space is a splendid place to relax and enjoy in full nature. «Pedras Parideiras» room The room «Pedras Parideiras» is a room that is born from the recovery of the old house of the housekeepers. It is located on the ground floor and the head of the bed is in glass, overlooking the mount where this room is inserted. The room has breakfast included in the rate and gives access to the various leisure areas. «Mizarela» room The room "Mizarela" was developed after the recovery of a ruin of the old house of the housekeepers.
