Welcome to our warm, traditional family farm, Zen Vouga, located on the outskirts of a rural village in Portugal, Zen Vouga, also known as Quinta do Fundo de Vila, sits on just over 3 acres (1 hectare) of pure nature, in a tranquil and idyllic setting. Comprised of 3 private houses for visitors, each rented separately or altogether. When altogether, we sleep up to 14 people for retreats, family gatherings and the like. We welcome everyone, regardless of ethnicity, colour, credence or sexual orientation. We have the facilities necessary for you to make your own meals and enjoy some relaxing time in Portugal's laid-back countryside. The Quinta do Fundo de Vila or Zen Vouga has three acres (one hectare) of total surface and is in the most tranquil and idyllic setting. It is located in the Valley of the River Vouga, in Ribeiradio, and is made-up of a main house (from the proprietors, not for rent), with wine-making facilities, games room and cellar, old wine press, maize crib, barbecue, wooden oven, covered pool and 3 houses available for guests. Most of these facilities have been built in granite and were recently rehabilitated. The granite and wood of the region are the main raw materials in the walls and ceilings. The guests will be able to enjoy a pleasant covered pool and a barbecue. The farm is in a typical Portuguese village; peaceful and with few inhabitants, where traditional, subsistence agriculture abounds. All this is in an agreeable setting, in direct contact with nature. In 2020 we are preparing a river beach in a creek that passes through the side of the property.
