Amoras Country House Hotel is located in Proença-a-Nova, a two-hour drive from Lisbon or Porto. It was built on the farm of the Baptista Diniz family, in a mansion dating from 1905. It has the atmosphere of a family home in the province. It has 32 rooms, all with a double bed or two single beds. All rooms have an elegant, modern and comfortable decor, with a private bathroom with a hairdryer and toiletries. They are equipped with air conditioning, flat-screen TV and minibar. Some of these rooms are able to meet the needs of people with reduced mobility. Amoras has a restaurant, Despensa-a-Nova, faithful to the roots of the tradition of homemade food, bringing to life the regional cuisine of Beira Baixa, particularly the typical flavors of Pinhal Interior: bucho, maranho, plangaio, goat and DOP cheeses. We invite you to try the lamb croquettes, the plangaio bras with spicy DOP cheese from Beira Baixa, the lagareiro-style cod roe and the goat rice or, made to order, the estonado goat; ending well with the traditional bowlada or some of our creations: medronho and blackberry sweets. In summer, diving in the pool and relaxing moments in the jacuzzi are great.
