About
Founded in 1955, Adega de Palmela, a wine brand from the Setúbal Peninsula Region, has played a worthy and active role in the region, maintaining an affective and emotional connection in supporting agricultural and wine production. Currently, it has around 300 members and over 65 years of cooperativism, it has an outstanding social function by honoring the name Palmela in the world with its brand's wines. The partners and producers have about 1,000 hectares of vines where the average annual production exceeds 8 million liters, and the winery has the capacity to reach 10 million liters, 70% of which are red wines, 20% white wines and 10% Moscatel. It produces brands such as Vale dos Barris, Adega de Palmela, Pedras Negras, Vale de Touros, Palma, Villa Palma and Amus, as well as other own and own brands already disseminated in the market.
