Quinta Vale Porcacho - one of the most beautiful places in central Portugal (Beiras ) - is a rustic estate in the wine region of the Dao . Our B & B is located in Povoa de Midoes ( Tabua ) in the vicinity of the Mondego River and has a panoramic view over the valley of the river and the Serra do Caramulo. The estate is a true oasis of peace and nature. Here's the all seasons linger. Culture and nature can be reached within the hour . • In the summer you can laze by the pool, hiking, biking or geocaching in the area or canoeing in the Mondego . • Spring is the season in which anticipate all fruit trees and vines and the Mimosa is in full bloom . • In September , the grapes are harvested and the wine made . • In November we pick the olives used in the press for olive oil of the best quality. • In winter , you can enjoy a good book and a glass of wine by the fire.
