Douroway is a small company that charter yachts on the Douro river water way in Portugal.The company owns a small Marina with all facilities. Our boats are 28ft Motor Sail Yacht. The Douro water way starts on the Atlantic coast at Porto, and comprises five connected lakes that extend for 200 km to the border with Spain.Along the river there are free public piers with charming little family-run restaurants nearby where you can have superb meals, At some piers there are also small hotels and shops. All prices are very good.As these are inland waters it's perfect for a first charter experience.You can explore the valley with our boats and stop were ever you like, take tours by train along the valley, walk in the vineyards, visit farms and small towns or simply swim in the warm clear waters of the river.The climate is pleasant at any time of year.Give it a go. It's great fun, great value for money and thoroughly enjoyable!
