The origin of the name "Casa Nª Sra do Carmo" is associated with the its private chapel. Opened in 2014, the house offers a warm and comfortable space, combining a modern style with its still visible history associated with vine growing and the production of the famous Port wine. The "lagares" and the winery are interesting features that will not go unnoticed. The "Casa Nª Sra do Carmo" offers a panoramic view of the Douro valley and of the surrounding mountains with their terraced vineyards.
