In this space, there is a vast collection of samples of different rocks and clays from the whole of Estrada Nacional 2, from Chaves to Faro, interconnected with the visualization of the Portuguese geological map. As it is associated with a geological fault (Verín – Penacova) with a strong tradition in the production of black ceramics, an attempt was made to have pieces representing various pottery centers on display, some of them historical, as they are associated with the last production cycles of these centers, working also as a memory file in this heritage area. Another aspect comprises archeological elements associated with humanization in the parish of Cumieira, with emphasis on historical collections, which evidence Romanization. Below you can find crockery that was used in the farm house/vineyard, dating from 1786. Finally, we present an exhibition space for rural products, which will be for sale (clay pieces, wines, oils, jams, soaps, among others.)
