The former market granary on the Askerc Trg square is a place for discovering past and present of Lasko and its surroundings. The permanent Lasko – A Trip through Time exhibition presents the town’s historical development from prehistoric times up until the present day, the Brewery Industry and Spa Tourism exhibition explores the long-lasting brewing and thermal spa traditions in Lasko and Rimske Toplice. Finally, the Geology of the Lasko Area exhibition focusses on the rich natural heritage, explains the historic economic development and inspires further countryside visits. The occasional thematic, painting and photographic exhibitions enrich the town’s cultural life.
