Located near Kranj and Skofja Loka, Crngrob is the ideal setting for a tourist farm. Almost everything is produced on the farm, and everything served is fresh and homemade. The tourist farm lunch includes beef soup with homemade noodles, roast pork, fried chicken or turkey, various cutlets, sausage and sauerkraut, buckwheat ?Ganci (groats), cottage cheese struklji, sausage preserved in minced lard, fresh vegetables, and salads and ends with fruit and potica. They also make several sorts of brandy. Guests will especially want to visit the Church of the Annunciation in Crngrob with its outstanding frescoes and magnificent Baroque organ, one of the most important artistic landmarks in Slovenia, as well as medieval Skofja Loka. The low mountains around Skofja Loka offer numerous fine hikes; Lake Bled and Lake Bohinj are a short drive away; nearby Soriska planina, Stari vrh, and Krvavec offer skiing in winter.
