The name really says it all here: wine and fish! Best described as a gourmet (not only) takeaway seafood joint, the menu consists entirely of sardines, picarels and calamari, which are either fried or grilled (in a Green Egg) and served up piping hot, while the lone side dish is some of the best fries in town, namely, wedge-style potatoes with the skins left on. To upgrade this portfolio Vino&Ribe has also delicious seafood tapas including gamberi, mussles, baccala etc. House wine comes in two typical Istrian varieties, Malvazija and Refošk, and flows quite liberally by the litre or half-litre. Minimal, modern, inexpensive and delicious is definitely a winning combination in our book. A nice wine shop also available with the labels from Primorska region.
