Cable Ingles
About
Cable Inglés is a historic passenger terminal located in the Playa de las Almadrabillas on Almería’s coast. Built between 1902–1904 by the Alquife Mines railway company, it once served as a mineral loading dock perched 19 metres above sea level. Today the pier has been transformed into a free public promenade that offers spectacular, uninterrupted views of the Mediterranean and the surrounding cliff faces, while preserving the original stone spouts and timber galleries that give the site its distinctive industrial charm. Open daily from 9:00 am to 11:00 pm in winter and from 9:00 am to 11:00 pm in summer, the attraction welcomes visitors year‑round with no admission fee, making it an ideal, budget‑friendly stop on any Almería itinerary.
