About
The Jardin de Cactus is a breathtaking cactus garden located on the island of Lanzarote in the Canary Islands. Designed by the renowned local artist César Manrique, the garden is set within a former volcanic quarry and spans more than 4,500 specimens representing 450 species from five continents. Its unique amphitheatre layout arranges the plants in terraced gardens, creating a dramatic contrast between green foliage and the surrounding volcanic landscape. A restored windmill, once used in the production of gofio, stands proudly at the highest point, offering visitors a charming historical landmark to explore.
