Hidden in a valley in the foothills of the Sierra Morena, 4 houses were built using traditional methods, whitewashed, with Arabic tiles, their terraces clothed in vines. Walk around the farm at sunset, swim in the pool or simply sunbathe. You can doze off, as you listen to the birds, among the scents of the bushes and fruit trees, after a leisurely breakfast or dinner. The houses lie in the northern part of our 10,000 m2 farm, at the very fringe of the Sierra Morena. They are surrounded by palms, mulberry trees, honeyberries (or nettle trees), acacias, a wide variety of ornamental bushes and an orchard. Casa Tierra, stands inside the stone quarry, the only in Cordoba and the most singular in Andalusia. The harmony of its interior is due to the arrangement, colour and proportions of the furniture specially designed for the room, where every element of its construction displays the utmost respect for its original form.The temperature stays at a constant 18 - 20 ºC all year round Nature Suite, a loft for 2 people, with 2 extra beds. Farther north on the farm, under the foothills of the Sierra Morena, is a quite unique sandstone quarry that includes the only cave house in the province of Cordova. The whole 25-hectare farm is given over to irrigated organic farming, taking its water from the Guadalmellato Reservoir and its own wells. We cultivate a wide range of arable crops, according to the season of the year. This year, for example we are growing beetroot, sweet-corn and carrots. The farm is run by the company Hortalizas de Genil, which is also responsible for distributing and exporting our crops. Since 1985, we have been registered with the Regulatory Council of Andalusian Organic Farming (CAAE). We organize activities inside de stone quarry like cinema during summer time, yoga courses or dancing courses.
