About

Privilege Ibiza, once the world’s largest nightclub, opened in 1979 as the KU Club and later re‑branded as Privilege. Located near Sant Rafael de Sa Creu on the island of Ibiza, the venue spread over 6,500 m² (69,940 ft²) and could accommodate 10,000 guests. Its design featured a large swimming‑pool area, a statue of Ku, and multiple dance zones that made it a trailblazer in European clubbing culture. The club operated until the summer of 2019, when it closed following a period of intense competition and regulatory changes. In 2024, the former Privilege site has been announced as the new home for the UNVRS club, a boutique nightlife concept that aims to blend cutting‑edge technology with Ibiza’s iconic party atmosphere. While Privilege itself is no longer open for visits, its influence endures as a landmark of nightlife history, attracting music enthusiasts, DJs, and visitors who wish to explore the legacy of one of the planet’s most legendary entertainment venues.
