It is a Catalan farmhouse from the 16th century, located in the highest part of Palau-saverdera, a village of 1500 inhabitants in the Alt Empordà. The name Palau comes from its origins as a “vila roma” or “palatio” and “sa verdera” as it forms part of the green serralada where we find the Monastery of Sant Pere de Rodes.
