About
El Laboratorio is a studio for photography inside a cave, specialized wet plate collodion: one of the pioneering techniques from 1851. El Laboratorio offers unique portrait sessions with ambrotypes and ferrotypes. A handcraft executed with a big format camera and original recipes from the 18th century. With silver and light as a basic element to create portraits on glass or metal plates, a souvenir with a duration of 150 years. Experience the authentic atmosphere of the caves; El Laboratorio is situated in Sacromonte the traditional gypsy quarter of Granada with a vivid flamenco scene and beautiful views.
