Restaurante Bitacora is a family-owned business which has excelled for over 30 years and remains one of the top restaurants in the city of Leon. Our extensive experience in the sector is our guarantee. Seafood is our passion and in sourcing fresh produce from the coasts of Cantabria and Huelva for use in our delicious recipes, we’ve developed seafood expertise that makes us unique in the city of Leon. There are two main "zones" in Restaurante Bitacora; a bar area and a separate dining area, where patrons can enjoy the best fish and seafood in a nautical setting, with original parts from the ship "Camposeco". Our cosy dining area has been decorated in a maritime style making you feel as though you’re in the stateroom of a ship while you enjoy your meal. Beatriz Alonso is the Head Chef who uses the family recipes and her own experience and innovation to perfectly combine past and present in the creation of her signature dishes. A gifted Pastry Chef, Beatriz showcases a wide selection of skilfully produced homemade desserts, designed to delight your palate. The A La Carte Menu and our Gluten Free Seafood Menu are served daily. We also have a selection of menus for Groups and an extensive wine list. The most popular dishes – and a must to try for two people – are the Rice with Scallops and the Salted Fish; these dishes require advance notice of 30 minutes as only fresh food is served and we are confident that they are worth the wait! Our Bar Menu offers a succulent selection of homemade Tapas along with a variety of beers and national wines.
