Akira Comics is a family-owned and independent business, specialized on comic-books, manga, fantasy literature, collectibles and other merchandise-related stuff. Founded on September, 11th 1993 and run by the Marugan family, currently one of the most relevant references withing the spanish retail indistry. Akira Comics is the comic-book store with most personality all over the country, because its style, arrangement and approach is wide different from what a regular spanish fan can find in other similar spanish store. Akira Comics was the first spanish comic-book store awarded with the "Eisner Spirit of Comics" (in 2012), the most important prize all over the world given every year by the San Diego Comic Con. (Considered the "Oscar" Award by the comic-book retailer industry) Currently is the biggest comicbook store all over Europe with 10000+ sqft in two floors of inmersive experience for any visitor all over the world.
