Cami de Cavalls
About
Cami de Cavalls (also spelled Camí de Cavalls) is an 186‑kilometre ancient coastal trail that loops around the island of Menorca in Spain. The path, which follows old watchtowers, fortresses and coastal artillery, offers hikers an unrivalled glimpse of the island’s dramatic cliffs, crystal‑clear coves and secluded beaches. Divided into 20 stages ranging from 5 to 14 km, the trail can be tackled in a single adventure of several days or piecemeal via short walks. It is a popular route for avid hikers, nature lovers and adventure racers, even hosting the annual Trail Menorca competitions. The walk requires appropriate hiking gear, but on most days the trail is free and safe for all ages, and the route is fully accessible to those with a moderate level of fitness.
