Son Verd has existed for nearly 400 years and was used mainly for agriculture and the production of charcoal. For almost 30 years, Son Verd has been an agricultural hotel and since January 2010, it has been given a bright, shiney, new look. Five individual, comfortable and at the same time, roomy apartments await the visitor. The hotel is situated in the amazingly beautiful north-eastern corner of the island and is an ideal departure point for hikers, cyclists, beach lovers and visitors who want peace and to have their energy refilled, as well as visiting the tourist hot-spots. Above all, families enjoy the secluded setting and the fact that children can play undisturbed and in safety. The beaches of Colonia St. Pere and Son Serra de Marina, which are some of the best beaches on the island, are only a few minutes away from Son Verd by car (approx.10 minutes). Countless beautiful bays on Mallorca's east coast are also reachable in less than 30 minutes by car.
