Hostel Sandalen is located in the very centre off Arvika, and the hostel is walking distance to everything the city has to offer both in terms of attractions, nightlife, shopping, museums, restaurants and cafes, cinema and theater, sauna and hammam, indoor swimming pool, bowling and a nice harbor on Lake Glafsfjorden. We have the best location in the city center, 500 meters from the train station and 300 meters from the bus station, no hostel in Arvika is located more centrally. Close to everything but still with peace and quiet. The hostel sandelen has ten cozy rooms on two levels with well-equipped kitchen, living room / TV room, showers and toilets on each floor. From the ground floor you can access to the backyard. The hostel has 40 beds in bright, fresh rooms, from single rooms to dormitories. Showers and toilets are in the corridor and there are communal well equipped kitchens for those who want to cook their own meals. Pillows and blankets are provided on each bed. Your own brought bed linen must consisting a bed sheets, duvet covers and pillow cases. Bed linen can be hired. With us there is no need membership in STF or similar! Parking place in the street and is free of charge. The pleasant town Arvika is located by lake Glafsfjorden in Värmland and is well known for its cultural heritage - music, art and crafts. In summer, Arvika is the ideal destination for music and art lovers,with a wide variety of concerts and exhibitions. The Arvika region includes some magnificent scenery with many lakes, nature reserves, extensive hiking and canoe trails.
