About

The Lighthouse Keeper’s House dates back to 1772. The house is listed as well as the surrounding area called Nakkehoved. The lighthouse is one of the few and best preserved coal lit lighthouses in the world. Panoramic view from the garden overlooking The Sound, Kattegat and Kullen in Sweden. We are located 2 km. from the town of Gilleleje and 45 min. drive from Copenhagen. The beach and a jetty is right below the cliff . Our neighbor is the local inn Fyrkroen which serves traditional Danish. The rooms have a seperate enterance and seperate bathroom – no sharing. Guests are welcome to use the garden and the terraces.
