In harmony with the sea, we deliver an unforgettable experience, flavoured with a taste of genuine joy, passion and knowledge. Pumphuset’s restaurant is located on the sea in the coastal village of Borstahusen, with wonderful views of Öresund, the island of Ven and Denmark. Pumphuset is also a vibrant house of culture. In addition to the restaurant, we have one of Sweden’s best art galleries and a museum featuring a permanent exhibition about the old fishing village of Borstahusen. With us, you can relax while the sun sets and watch the boats traverse the Sound. It’s just as cozy on a nice summer evening as on a stormy autumn day when sea-spray hits the big panorama windows. Our menu emphasizes fish from our local fishermen. We work only with carefully selected ingredients from local suppliers, and we customize our menu according to the season. Pumphuset is a perfect destination for an outstanding meal, a brunch meeting, a cup of coffee, or a relaxing beer, all enjoyed in an atmosphere of good art and culture. We can accommodate conferences as well as festivities for small and large gatherings.
