About
Taberg is a 1.2 billion years old mountain with a special geological and botanical story. It has been mined for Iron Ore for 1000 years. Guided tours in the old mine tunnels, May-October. During winter a bat population hibernate in the mine. A small bat and geology museum. Walking trails to the top or along River Taberg. The area is protected and a Natura 2000 reserve.
