About

During summer you can find the restaurant Galejen on the beautiful island Nord Koster outside of Strömstad. We are open during summer period and offer a various menu of dishes typical for the Swedish west coast region; fish from the local fisherman, meat made in local recipe, fresh shrimps, and popular vegetable dishes. Beside the restaurant, our hungry guests can find toasts and sandwiches if you are in hurry in the shop beside the restaurant. We invite our guests to a well cocked dinner; served either in the restaurant by the fireplace or on the deck where you can look on the boats that passes bye. During evenings local musicians play some well-known songs creating an atmosphere you will remember a long time after the visit. Please make reservations if you are a bigger company, especially when we have musicians playing. Welcome aboard on the Galejen!
