The Circolo offers a typically Italian menu with a mixture of local products from Neuchâtel and its surroundings. The menu is complemented by Libera Terra products from areas confiscated from the mafias: wines, jams, preserves. Founded in 1968, the Colonia Libera Italiana association in Neuchâtel reopened the doors of the Circolo at the end of 2019, after a six-month closure. The social aim of the association is to associate people of all political and religious tendencies who recognise democratic, republican and anti-fascist values. It is an association independent of any political party or religious movement, but willing to collaborate with progressive movements and organisations whose aim is to defend and improve the conditions of Swiss and immigrants. An exhibition on the history of the Association is displayed on the walls of the Circolo.
