Diavolezza
About
Diavolezza is a spectacular high‑altitude mountain offering unrivalled views of the 4,000‑metre Piz Bernina, the imposing Piz Palü, and the Pers and Morteratsch glaciers. The Dorothea Glacier Run starts at the summit and descends eight kilometres to Morteratsch, a favourite for ski‑tourers and adventure seekers. After the descent, visitors can unwind in the open‑air jacuzzi at the Berghaus, enjoy regional dishes such as Sciatt and Pizzoccheri, and stay overnight in the mountain’s only hotel. The valley station hosts an interactive exhibition on glacier change and serves as a base for hikers, climbers, and families looking for alpine experiences under the stars, especially during the popular night‑skiing event Glüna Plaina.
