Sleeping up to 6 people, the apartment has both front and rear balconies. Bedrooms & BathroomsThe apartment sleeps up to 6 people as follows:Bedroom 1: two single beds (90 x 190cm), incredible mountain/valley views, chair, wardrobe. The beds can be pushed together to make a double bed. Bedroom 2: three single beds (90 x 190cm) plus one pull-out bed, wardrobe, windows with incredible mountain/valley views & glass door with access to private balcony with a deck-chair The bathroom is fitted with bath (with overhead shower), sink and WC. La Tzoumaz Apartment Mont Parrain 14 is equipped with a high chair and a folding travel cot (60 x 120cm, bedding not provided) suitable for children under 2 years old, and a second is available on demand on arrival. Please note that in accordance with the manufacturer's safety instructions, additional mattresses are not provided with the cots. EquipmentThe main area of this simple apartment is an open kitchen/living/dining area. The kitchen is equipped with all the basics, including a microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, filter coffee machine, kettle, toaster, oven, hob and fridge. Please note that there is no dishwasher. There are fondue and raclette sets for a traditional Swiss evening in front of the mountain views. Each room is fitted with thermostatically-adjustable central heating radiators. There is a communal (card-operated) washing machine and dryer available in the building, along with a shared ski-storage room. RelaxingIt is so convenient to be able to ski (or mountainbike!) right back to the apartment that you won't find it hard to relax. The bedrooms and the living room all boast incredible views. Take a moment on the balcony to admire the views across the valley. On a blue-sky day, the view stretches 20km, from the floor of the Rhone Valley up to the peaks of the Haut de Cry and the Mont Gond. Take a seat in the living room with a glass of local wine at the end of an exhilirating day in the mountains, or prepare a hearty meal for the group to help recharge for another incredible day. If you are in need of distraction, there is a music player and a flatscreen television with cableTV. The village centre is just a few steps away and it won't take you long to reach the supermarket or to explore the sprinkling of bars and restaurants. Parking and accessThere is a single parking space reserved for the apartment in the shared car park area underneath the building. Additional parking spaces are available in the free outdoor public car park 500m down the road. Winter tyres and/or snow chains sometimes necessary to reach the village in winter due to frequent snowfalls, however chains must be removed before entering the car park underneath the apartment building. From here stairs or an elevator take you to the second floor, where you will find the front door. There is an additional pedestrian/skier access at the rear of the building. The apartment is a 2-minute walk from the bus stop, supermarket and children's playground. Car not necessary due to proximity to ski-lifts, restaurants and supermarket - contact us for airport or railway transfers. WinterApartment Mont Parrain 19 is ski-in and ski-out as it is situated at the bottom of the main piste, next to the departure point of the main telecabin. This modern high-speed telecabin carries you from La Tzoumaz up to the top of the Savoleyres in less than 8 minutes, from where you can decide to ski back on the quiet La Tzoumaz slopes or ski down to Verbier’s legendary slopes and world-class off-piste opportunities in the vast 4-Valleys ski area. SummerIn the peak summer season (from early July to late August), we provide you with free VIP pedestrian lift-passes, half-price mountain-bike daypasses and a range of other discounts. The telecabin link to Verbier operates daily at this time of year from 08:45 to 12:30 and from 13:30 to 16:45, meaning that you can easily access the famous resort as a pedestrian, or accompanied by your bicycle or e-bike. For a small supplement you can even use a variety of mountain lifts to make your way up to Mont Fort at 3300m for the highest fondue in Europe and incredible mountain panoramas that include Mont Blanc and the Matterhorn.
