In November 2013, the Hiltl Shop opened as Switzerland’s first veggie butcher next to Haus Hiltl at 18 St. Annagasse in Zurich, presenting a fancy “mom and pop store” style. The shop offers a grab & go assortment with Hiltl specialties such as fresh salads, sandwiches, freshly squeezed juices, a fine vegetarian and vegan deli, a great wine selection and the first veggie butcher of Switzerland: At the "butcher’s counter", meat alternatives such as tofu, seitan, tempeh and soya sausage products are offered, as well as the popular Hiltl Tartare, Züri-Geschnetzeltes (sliced strips of veal in a cream and mushroom sauce) or homemade Cordon Bleu are also available.
