Ellon Castle Gardens

About

This garden contains 19 ancient English Yew trees believed to be from 500-800 years old. It also contains the ruins of a 15th Century Castle which at one time belonged to George Gordon 3rd Earl of Aberdeen. There is a 30 foot high terrace, walks and a large collection of Apple Trees. The lower garden is wheelchair friendly. Guided tours are available by application.
