Known as the hanging pub the Penllwyndu is renowned for its unusual sign on the front showing a man hanging from a scaffold – the pub is located on the exact crossroad where in bygone days thieves and villains were brought the five miles or so from Cardigan for execution. The Penllwyndu enjoys a very loyal base of local customers, and regular annual holiday visitors alike. Its interesting interior and customers will ensure a warm and memorable welcome, a wood stove to keep you warm in the winter, and the warmth of the sun in the beer garden during the summer.
