About
Brechin Town House Museum is located within a historic municipal building, constructed around 1789-90, in the centre of the Cathedral City of Brechin. The museum contains local history exhibitions, including the ancient Picts, the Jacobites and 20th century history. On display is a model of Brechin in miniature, based on the 1822 map created by cartographer John Wood. See if you can spot what has changed and recognise what remains the same to this day. Brechin Town House Museum features a changing programme of contemporary exhibitions, including visual art as well as a variety of fascinating talks.
